Three Uncommon Tricks For Getting Your Brand Noticed

In this contemporary world, effective marketing has become integral to a business’s ability to attain financial success. Marketing strategies are diverse and can include anything from logo umbrellas to “Go Promotional” campaigns that include consistent use of social media forums like Twitter and Facebook. And while tried and true techniques like direct mail and referral marketing can be effective, it is sometimes advantageous to think outside of the box in order to get your brand noticed. Here are three tricks that may work wonders for you:

Bus Ads

This marketing strategy can be effective for many reasons, including the fact that it will be seen in every part of the city the bus travels through. Moreover, bus ads don’t involve the type of in-your-face promotion that turns many potential customers off. Rather than shoving perfume samples into someone’s hands, try getting your brand noticed with a bus ad featuring aesthetically appealing images and brief informative descriptions of the products and services you offer. Make sure to include your business’s contact info or website so potential customers can follow up.

The Parking Meter Method

This method is unusual and may prove to be unusually effective if you hit your target market. The method is simple:

  1. Print out a flyer that says something along the lines of “You ran out of time on your parking meter so I dropped a quarter in it.”
  2. On the other side of the flyer, print an advertisement for your business.
  3. Go to a local bank and get a bunch of quarters.
  4. Find parking meters amongst your target population and drop a quarter in meters that have expired. Then drop a quarter in them along with your flyer.

When the individual whose time expired sees what you’ve done, they’ll likely be very grateful and switch to your brand because of this random act of kindness!

Pizza Box Advertising

Like the parking meter method, this trick can get your brand noticed if you market to the right population. So-once you know that the pizza is actually being delivered to people who are likely to purchase the goods and services you’re offering-inform the appropriate local pizza business companies that you will cover their pizza box costs in exchange for having your ad placed on top of the box. To cut costs for yourself, you can share ad space with 1-3 other companies.
