Marketing Management is a discipline focused on the practical application of marketing techniques and the management of a firm’s marketing resources and activities for the purpose of creating a demand for the firm’s products for selling the same. In fact, today, marketing is one of the fastest growing careers for professionals, especially for those who come from a thorough grounding in business and management.

Often, marketing is defined as the process of communicating the value of a product or service to customers, for the purpose of selling that product or service.The term “marketing” as it is known now, was actually formulated in the early 1930s by the American Marketing Association presidential address. While manufacturing was then the focus in most of the firms, a subsequent need was recognized to sell what was getting manufactured more efficiently in existing and new markets. It was then that the need for marketing was actually realized.

While marketing management as a discipline of research and application has seen waves of changes in key strategic inclination and focus, the core has somewhat remained unchanged. Due to these reasons, the jobs in marketing can vary a lot. 10.  Affiliate marketing professional: Create your own chain of hierarchy and get the benefits of the sales from it. E.G. Make money from tweeting and making friends join you in the same using MyLikes
